Waking Up Free, Whole, and Fabulous: Healing Within and In the World (LGBTIQ Retreat)
Open to all who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, or Queer
Co-sponsored by The Insight Meditation Community of Washington (IMCW)
The Buddha’s teachings invite us to wake up to what is true and what is real within ourselves and in the world. On this silent retreat, we will cultivate mindfulness to see clearly what is unfolding in our bodies, hearts, and minds. We will also nurture compassion and equanimity to meet whatever is arising with warmth, caring, and balance. This direct experience helps us understand how to hold what arises in our lives.
Why not give yourself this time away from your busy life to pause, reflect, and discover how through awareness, compassion, and wisdom we can begin to heal ourselves, each other, and the world.
